Jones Transportation has once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian service by supporting a vital shipment bound for Haiti. Coordinated with partners in Michigan and Red Deer, the transportation company successfully arranged the safe delivery of essential supplies that will soon make their way to communities in need.
In a letter of gratitude, Patti Vold thanked Jones Transportation for ensuring the shipment arrived intact and on time. “Thank you so much for arranging the shipping from Michigan to Red Deer. It all got here in one piece and we are packing the container on Mon & Tues. Then it will be off to Haiti,” Vold wrote.
“Jones Transportation is committed to going beyond business and using our logistics expertise to make a difference in people’s lives,” said Robert Jones, President of Jones Transportation. “We are honored to play a role in connecting communities and delivering hope where it is needed most.”
The donation includes much-needed supplies to support children and families. Accompanying the letter was a photograph of a caregiver, Patricia, along with Melinda Smith and one of the children who will directly benefit from these efforts.
This initiative reflects Jones Transportation’s long-standing values of service, reliability, and community care. By facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid, the company demonstrates its dedication not only to excellence in transportation, but also to supporting global humanitarian efforts.
This shipment represents more than logistics — it is a testament to compassion, global connection, and the shared responsibility of helping those in crisis.
